We ate our first meal here at the hotel bar, called The Bar. It is more of a lounge than what comes to mind when thinking about a bar. Very comfortable seating, great music or at least the kind of music I like such as, Sinatra and the Classic American Songbook. Low-lighting and a quiet, soundproof room that overlooks the street and gardens rounds out this nice place to drink and eat. Bill ordered crabmeat cocktail, I had the crab cake and Sarah an interesting Indian inspired chicken marsala with rice. The usual assortments of wine and relaxed conversation is how we finished the evening before retiring.
